St. Felix House

St. Felix House is a transitional housing program for female identifying individuals who are experiencing or risk experiencing homelessness. We provide residence for up to one year, as well as additional supports to assist them in achieving their goals related to housing, employment, education and personal growth.

women have lived in our transitional home since 2012

We view communal living as an opportunity to share, grow, network and encourage all residents to attend our diverse community programming. Residents are also given plenty of individualized support, including time with an assigned case worker, a housing worker and an employment counsellor.

We are also home to the One Stop program, where we help our residents achieve their career goals regardless of their work history. Residents are given paid placement opportunities to ease into the workforce and have access to a training bursary to enhance their employability.

Many of the women who have participated in the One Stop Program have gone on to secure long-term employment stemming from their One Stop placement. While we remain committed to our Catholic roots, we welcome residents of all faiths and welcome human diversity in all forms.

We continue to strive to grow our program and build on our successes so far, and are grateful for any donations that will further this cause.
