We know we talk a lot about the smiles of our guests, but when you have accompanied them through the process of facing very hard battles, those smiles become truly priceless! Our campaign is underway, and we need your support so we can continue helping incredible and valuable people such as Peter. No donation is too small! On November 15, 2017, for a fourth year in a row, the Centre launched its continuous service drop-in operation for people experiencing homelessness in need of a warm and safe space to have a meal and sleep this winter. The Winter Respite Service program (WRS), offered in partnership with the City of Toronto, will run until April 15, 2018.
In addition to warm meals and a space to sleep, guests will have access to the Centre’s clothing bank, storage space, computers with internet service, social services and case management support, and peer programming. Each Friday, Sherbourne Health Centre’s The Rotary Club of Toronto Health Bus will offer primary health care, mental health support, health education and overdose awareness services to St Felix Centre’s guests.
