St. Felix Centre has partnered with the City of Toronto to deliver the Extreme Cold Weather Drop-In Program for the past two winters.
The Extreme Cold Weather Drop-In Program resumed on November 15th, 2016 and will conclude on April 15th, 2017. During this time St. Felix Centre will open its doors for round-the-clock access to our meal programs, individual support services, community drop-in, washrooms and resting areas when an Extreme Cold Weather Alert has been issued for the City of Toronto – and we will remain open 24/7 from December 15, 2016 to March 15, 2017 (regardless of the weather).
The Extreme Cold Weather Drop-In Program provides a vital service to some of the most disadvantaged and marginalized members of our Toronto community. Last winter we opened our doors for over 60 nights and we welcomed 50 people each night.
